  • Councillor – Town of Perth, 2022-2026

  • Trustee for the Upper Canada School Board and Member of the Special Education Advisory Committee and Audit Committee, 2010–2014

  • Member of the Business Improvement Area and Promotional Committee – Event Planning

  • Member of the Board of Directors of Perth & District Chambers of Commerce

  • Planning Committee Waves for Hospice Hub – Fundraiser $25,000

  • Sponsored and secured Vicki Keith for luncheon in Perth

  • Kick-off for Waves for Hospice $1,000 and secured sponsors for Waves for Hospice $6,000

  • Co-ordinated Toonies for the Table – Community Food Centre $40,000

  • Member of the Municipal Climate Change Advisory Panel

  • Member of the Lanark County Climate Action Working Group

  • Co-ordinated the Re-Use Center at the Landfill Site and secured volunteers, 2026

  • Secured sponsorship for Once Upon a Christmas Event – 3 years

  • Member of the Stewart Park Festival Committee – 2 years

  • Secured the use of an RV for Stewart Park Festival for musicians, and secured donations for all first aid equipment

  • Recruited, trained and supervised over 20 volunteers for the First Aid Response Team for Festival of Maples, the Stewart Park Festival and Parkinson's Walk

  • Steering Committee for the newly-formed Volunteer Lanark

  • Co-ordinated the Junior Volunteer Entrepreneurial Program – BIA, 2025

  • Member of the Darou Farm Working Group – sponsored refreshments for the opening of the Dog Park

  • BIA Team representing Perth at the Ottawa Women's Show

  • Directed the team that put the Evacuation/Emergency Plan together for Stewart Park Festival, secured sites for protection and signage

  • Spearheaded the Elton John Fashion Icon in Perth to promote business in downtown core

  • Allan C. Vallance Honorary Award for giving unselfishly of time and effort for the benefit of the residents of Maxville Manor as selected by residents, volunteers, and staff

  • Provincial Swim Coach Achievement Award, presented to Head Coach who won Provincial Team Championship 1987–88

  • Key to the City of Cornwall, presented to Head Coach and Cornwall Sea Lions Swim Club for winning Provincial Team Championships

  • Arts Carleton Place Award for producing a holiday CD and show that involved collaboration with Grades 6, 7, and 8 students of R. Tait McKenzie Public School

  • Diamond Award – Champions for Kids, for contributing $18K through volunteer fundraising efforts and involving student and staff

  • Member of the Speakers Series, Greater Metropolitan Toronto United Way

  • Former Vice Chair Lanark County Community Living
